The hotel upgraded us to a suite for my 60th birthday celebration. Staff provided balloons, a cake, and a thoughtful gift. I appreciated this gesture. The concierge staff, including Nigel and Christof, were attentive. Staff in the restaurant, bar, and housekeeping also were very helpful.

The tea room hostess was rude, and I believe front-line customer service should be cute.

i am not accustomed to such luxury and booked this place as a treat. i got a room upgrade to mayfair balcony room which i thought was very nice. the hotel is beautiful and packed with precious art. the staff were kind, professional, really good i must say.

i walked in to the tea room and the hostess wasn't nice, annabel should be smiling and cute as a front raw customer service employee. our table wasn't ready and we asked if she can ask someone to clean it faster as we waited in the hall, but the reply wasn't acceptable. she said we have to wait until her manager decides to get the table ready for us.
